In 2014, tragedy struck when they lost their oldest son, Calvin, to cancer at just 13 years old. The pain was unimaginable, and their world was turned upside down. In the face of this devastating loss, Virginia and Eddie found themselves searching for a new purpose and a way to heal their broken hearts. More importantly, they needed to find a way to spend as much time as possible with their youngest son, Seth.

Out of this deep need for change and healing, Hibachibot Food Truck was born. The idea of a food truck, while never a dream of theirs, offered a way for the family to stay close together, to build something new from their shared grief, and to honor Calvin’s memory in a unique way. A New Beginning: Starting Hibachibot was a leap of faith for Virginia and Eddie. They poured their love, creativity, and resilience into this new venture, transforming their pain into something beautiful and fulfilling. Family First: The primary motivation behind Hibachibot was to spend more time with Seth and create lasting memories together. The food truck became more than just a business; it was a sanctuary where the family could bond, heal, and grow stronger. But it was on the soccer fields where the idea for MPC first took root. Attila’s story is one of passion, dedication, and the power of family support. His journey from a coach with an idea to the owner of a thriving mobile pizza business is a testament to his hard work and love for both sports and culinary arts.
